What are Flash elements and how can they affect SEO?
Flash is a technology used to show animations on websites. It has been around as early as 1996 and it was common to see flash elements as a web design tech until Google announced that it will stop indexing Flash content in 2019. This means that all websites and content that are using Flash will now be invisible and will not appear on Google’s search result pages.
For SEO, it is not recommended to use Flash on pages that you want to appear on SERPs. As an alternative, there are many modern open-source libraries that are built on top of HTML5 that emulates its functionalities in creating beautiful web page animations.
